Deer may be eating plants in your garden. One way to solve this problem is to cultivate plants that deer avoid. General characteristics of these plants are those with fuzzy or tough leaves. Fragrant flowers, spikes, and bristles are also avoided.
Two examples of annuals are dusty miller and floss flower. Perennials include bigroot geranium and Japanese spurge. Bulbs such as daffodils and snow drops can be planted. If you have an interest in herbs, rosemary and thyme should be considered.
