Nature has provided every animal protection against predators. The following are examples:
Zebra's stripes help hide the animal in the tall grasses of Africa. They also help them recognize each other and keep biting flies away. The rosy maple moth is camouflaged with a pink color. Predators see the color and think the moth tastes bad. Rabbits zig zag back and forth to escape predators.
Loons ( a type of bird ) carry their young on their back for protection. Bearded dragons native to Australia have scales that change colors when threatened.
Cougars are covered with spotted coats.. Manta Ray's size protects them as they can grow to 23 feet wide.
