The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) teaches that we have an obligation to participate in the political life of our country, drawing on our principles and values when voting.
In order to do so, we must be registered to vote and to exercise our right to vote. In Missouri, deadline for voter registration for the November 8, 2022 election is October 12, whether at a local election office, online, or by mail (postmark). Requests for absentee ballots must be received by October 26 and be returned either by mail or in person on or before November 7 at 5:00 pm. at your local election authority. There is no need for notarization if you fill out your ballot at your local election authority.
Be prepared to show an unexpired state-issued photo ID or passport, per legislation signed into law by Governor Parson.
